Child & Adolescent Services

Crisis Line 2-1-1

When children are having behavioral and emotional problems, these difficulties affect the whole family. Wellmore advocates that behavioral health treatment for children is most effective when parents and caregivers participate and there is a collaboration with teachers and pediatricians. Our treatment and support include and involve all family members to understand the problems and determine solutions that work for everyone. Therapy is more effective when the clinician, doctor, nurse, teacher, child, and family are working collectively. In this way, we can be most successful in reaching our goal of keeping children and families safe, healthy and happy together.

Wellmore provides a wide range of mental health services to the Greater Waterbury, Torrington, Naugatuck, and Danbury Regions. Services for children and families include Crisis Intervention, Intensive Home-Based Services, and Community-based prevention/early intervention approaches.
